i dream of notebooks

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

everytime notebooks come may way for configurations or set up of whatever a user needs, i always play with those laptops. just like what i’m doing right now. this is somebody’s notebook and before i let her have it, i use it. well, for testing purposes of course. never mind my own desire to posses one.

i love typing these words using the sensitive keypad. call me an addict but somehow it satisfies my intense want to have my very own notebook that i can bring anywhere, download mp3s, write my compositions, do some graphic editing or simply feeling the feel of it. oh yes, watching movies as well just like a portable player.

i have done quite a few laptops. which were ibm thinkpads and benq notebooks. still, can’t get enough of it, they keep on coming to me. and i, being an it staff, have the privilege of devirginizing the hard disk by installing a couple of applications.. hehe… i sound like hannibal or a predator.. that, i believe is worse than being insane.. hmmm… seems just the same, ayt?

for whatever reason, i do want to have one. i have this urge that simply won’t get out of my head.. and i’ll be damn if i let a chance pass me by.. for the mean time, i’ll enjoy a few minutes that this baby is on my table, lying quietly while i terrorize its innocence.. i do resemble somebody… hahaha!!! no way! i’m a simple dreamer, that’s all!!

time crisis 4

arcade is my way of reducing stress after an excruciating day at work. you can always see me hanging around tom’s world or time zone in robinson’s galleria or sm megamall. but of course, i don’t go out alone. i’m always with my amiga, kelay who is also an arcade addict like me.

but, aside from sharing the same addiction, we both love playing time crisis. so when i saw that TC4 is out, i immediately advised her. at first we were hesitant to try it for it is way expensive than its previous versions. yeah, it’s the most recent one that’s why. we’re not surprised anymore.

one time after office hours, we had our friday gimmick at the mall. i wanted to spend my money enjoying myself while playing and so did she. it was our first time to try TC4 and we were out of the game easily. why? it’s too difficult to get those freaking jerks out of the way and there’s a voice over telling us what to do next, which by the way is the upgrade in time crisis.

that challenged the hell out of us. if ever we had a chance, we’d grab those pistols and kick some ass though our hands are giving up already. any improvements with our performance? we reached stage 2 after a few practice sessions. it’s an achievement we hold dearly. hehe

and so, i’m looking forward to my next adventure with captain rush and lieutenant, i forgot (a woman) using 2 and 3 views of simultaneous attacks by enemies, using flashlight while having a showdown in a cave, and how could i forget the terror bites that look like beetles.

arcade does make me feel better though it costs me my salary. but i do recommend it for you to try it out. hundred bucks won’t hurt. in TC4, it does. it is 20 bucks per game.

see you at the gaming grounds!!

kasal, kasali, kasalo

saw this movie recently after hearing so much about it. i was also intrigued with it’s plot when i saw previews on tv.

it did not fail me. i was laughing hard every now and then and the story was really a fact that most couples undergo.

but, making someone laugh doesn’t make the movie itself so good. lead actress was shouting almost the entire film. and majority of the scenes was fights between the couples that gave me a headache. and though it was what the film is about. i found it dragging.

for this movie, i give it a rating of 8 out of 10. as if i’m a member of the jury. haha! just pretending to be one. if you want something to laugh about, try this. it’s worth it.
