My Info Media
During French class, we were asked to share to everyone our preferences in terms of info media.
Everyone said they prefer reading materials like newspaper, magazines, online texts. Generally speaking, we like reading more than listening or watching tv. I too like reading, though it’s not the very first thing I do every morning. I listen to the radio. So, here comes The Morning Rush.
They just don’t give me my daily dose of upbeat music. They provide me news and traffic updates that I find useful since I drive for 1.5 to 2 hours from home to work.
However, what they find weird (or unnatural) is that almost all of my explicitly defined sources of information are mainly science and technology related. For example, I check out Scientific American and Astronomy websites more than I could hardly remember (aside from the fact that I used to purchase their magazines).
Does it make me any weirder? I think so too. hehe
What if I admit that I am interested in Genetic Engineering that’s why I read articles from sciam? Okay, I’m a nerd (the thing is, I don’t look like one). =P
