Looks like Fedora 11 is not for my notebook

A lot of tech bloggers are saying that they have trouble free in using Fedora 11. They are pleased with their computing to the extent that Fedora is becoming more noob friendly (according to them). A few said that they are not satisfied with it. I say, I am hugely disappointed.

In this blog, I am open about the excitement of using the latest release of Fedora. I am willing to do an overhaul on my notebook to see for myself what it’s like doing both OS upgrade and fresh install. I want to have the out-of-the-box feeling for the entire experience.

All these are still in my mind and I’m not sure if I’d be able to do so. Like I said, the process was a failure and I did it again last night, which is another failure.

That is why I’m thinking of another distribution that can work properly on dual-boot. Therefore, my next adventure is to find that distro. BUT, I won’t be including Ubuntu and its flavors. I want to be different, that’s why.

Although, I’m still okay with the idea of installing Fedora 11 on a Desktop with dual-boot. I am yet to see and blog about it. For now, I’ll give it a rest.

Jah!
