centosI am recently getting hooked into using CentOS. More than anything else, I still don’t know everything about it that’s why stumbling to this book is quite timely. Another is the issue with Bind DNS that my seatmate encountered. I haven’t experienced it even though we’re using almost the same resources. We’ll see.

Book of the Month: JBoss in Action

JBossPink-Sandbox suggested we use JBoss instead of Apache Tomcat as our web server. And since Manning has the most updated book for JBoss (Jboss in Action, 2009), this is the book for the month for me.

But I’m not making promises, okay? It only became a new entry in my extra-long-to-do list.

Book of the Month: Linux Bible 2008

I’ve been recommending this book to everyone (newly converts and the like). It discusses the most basic principle (how to install, which distro to choose) to more complicated topics (firewall, lamp). Basically it’s an all around book that’s why it’s called bible.
